somewhat adjusted to Germany

Well, today is the first day I feel like I'm truly adjusted to Germany. I've learned how to buy and eat cheap food (Aldi) and today was the first day I felt like I truly could get involved in the lunchtime conversation with my coworkers in German. Today I also [text] chatted with another German on Skype and we chatted for a few minutes and I didn't even make a single grammar error for some time! Wow! Of course, as soon as I typed a somewhat long sentence, my grammar stood no more chance of being correct. hehe Damn German word order. :)

So, I know where my trash is supposed to be sorted and how the cell phone system works. I know how to make cheap calls to the USA/Canada/Europe (with Skype). I understand how to upgrade Eclipse (the development environment I'm working with at work) and I feel like I have a decent grasp of the Java language, although I realize, of course, I have a lot left to learn! Also I have weekend plans for the next three weeks or so.

So, alles klar. =)
